Dental implants
A permanent replacement for missing teeth that restores the smile, the bite and the bone beneath it.
Implants are titanium screw-like structures used to replace one, several or all of your teeth. They restore a smile with a natural, life-like result and re-establish chewing ability — providing security, comfort and confidence through a permanent solution for missing teeth.
Implants are placed in areas of existing bone and become integrated within it. They can support a single tooth, multiple teeth or an entire dentition, depending on the position and number of implants placed in the jaw.

A single missing tooth
An individual crown is fabricated over the implant. Implants offer real advantages over a traditional bridge: there is no need to grind down healthy adjacent teeth, and the implant acts as a root that helps prevent bone deterioration. A conventional bridge will eventually allow bone loss beneath the unsupported tooth, which can produce an unattractive dark space at the gum line.

Multiple missing teeth
Several implants can support a bridge or a complete denture. Implant-supported dentures hold securely in place and help prevent bone loss — there is no slipping or shifting, you can bite and chew naturally, taste may improve, and speech is far less affected than with a conventional denture.
